Job Overview:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and SNOW customization will be crucial in optimizing our internal workflows and enhancing our overall IT service delivery. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality SNOW applications to meet the organization's needs.

Essential Functions

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and process workflows to identify opportunities for ServiceNow enhancements and customization.
• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications/modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and other ITSM processes.
• Customize and extend ServiceNow functionalities through the development of custom applications, workflows, and scripting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Perform thorough testing of ServiceNow applications and modules to ensure high-quality and bug-free deliverables.
• Support the implementation of ITIL best practices and standards across the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing ServiceNow applications, addressing, and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on ITSM processes and customization.

• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM best practices.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including creating custom applications, business rules, UI policies, and scripting (JavaScript, APIs, etc.).

• Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows, form layouts, and user interface.

• Knowledge of integration techniques between ServiceNow and other systems.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and logically.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
