Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ETL & Data Warehousing Developer with strong expertise in SQL Databases and hands-on experience in developing and managing ETL workflows. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data warehousing concepts and a good understanding of Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense. Candidates with exposure to other BI tools will also be considered favorably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple environments.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models and data pipelines.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Collaborate with BI teams to integrate ETL workflows with visualization tools.
- Support and enhance existing data warehouse and ETL infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and ensure data accuracy.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.).
- Proficiency in performance tuning of SQL queries and ETL workflows.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Qlik Sense or other Qlik tools (QlikView, Qlik Replicate, etc.).
- Knowledge of other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
