Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to craft clear, audit-ready documentation that bridges the gap between business users and technical teams. You will own the creation of SOW annexes, data dictionaries, user manuals, API guides, and audit artifacts—ensuring they meet both stakeholder clarity and compliance standards (ISO, ITGC).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the DIC PoC runbook: data flows, model lifecycle, and accuracy KPIs.
- Create intuitive end-user documentation for GrepEye dashboards (e.g., SKU filters, what-if simulators).
- Partner with Data Engineers to produce schema documentation, lineage diagrams, and data-quality SLAs.
- Write release notes and changelogs; manage documentation pipelines using Git (docs-as-code approach).
- Standardize terminology, visual style, and versioning; generate UML and flow diagrams for audit packs.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficient with Markdown and documentation toolchains like Confluence, Sphinx, or equivalents.
- Comfortable reading and documenting Python and TypeScript code snippets.
- Experience using UML/data-flow diagramming tools (e.g., draw.io, PlantUML); familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with forecasting or analytics platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile processes to align with development sprints.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional written communication—clear, concise, and audience-appropriate.
- Skilled at interviewing subject-matter experts (SMEs) and distilling complex jargon.
