Position Overview:

As an Android Developer at Remitap, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, performant, and test-driven applications. Your contributions will be vital to the success and evolution of our mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and developers to define app requirements and technical solutions.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in coding and architecture.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) and continuous testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and promptly.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, and AndroidX.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services.
• Solid understanding of Google’s design guidelines and principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong focus on performance optimization and test-driven development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the fintech industry.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its integration with mobile apps.
