Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our IT Service Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow applications, particularly in Service Catalog and Incident Management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, automate workflows, and enhance IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Service Catalog items, workflows, UI policies, and record producers to streamline service requests.
  • Enhance Incident Management capabilities, including incident categorization, routing, SLA tracking, notifications, and reporting.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Develop custom scripts, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs to extend platform functionality.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other methods.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Service Catalog, Incident Management, and workflows.
  • Follow best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization while adhering to SDLC.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with expertise in ITSM modules (Service Catalog & Incident Management).
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, Flow Designer, and Workflow Automation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITOM, CSM, or HRSD modules is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Performance Analytics and ServiceNow reporting.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
