Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java + GCP Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a strong understanding of event-driven and near real-time data patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Develop and review high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.
• Execute project-specific development tasks in line with coding standards and best practices.
• Set up and maintain the development environment.
• Deliver projects within schedule while meeting engineering and quality standards.
• Take end-to-end ownership and delivery of projects on GCP for the Payments Data Platform.
• Provide support once a month as part of the GCP 24x7 on-call support rota.
• Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to all Agile ceremonies.
• Support developed code in production, following DevOps and Agile best practices.

Technical Skills Required:

• Must-Have:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid working experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – especially with services like:
    • Dataflow
    • BigQuery
    • Bigtable
  • Experience working with large-scale databases and handling massive data volumes.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures, near real-time data ingestion, and ingress/egress data flows.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good to Have:
  • Basic understanding of Payments domain, ISO message standards, etc.
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting and Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git
