Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end OCI architectures covering compute, networking, storage, databases, security, integration and monitoring.
Define OCI landing zones, tenancy structures, compartments, policies and governance models.
Design secure VCN architecture, including subnets, route tables, security lists/NSGs, DRGs, VPN, FastConnect and load balancing.
Architect OCI services including:
Compute / VM / Bare Metal
OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
Object Storage
Autonomous Database / Oracle Database
Data Integration
Data Flow
API Gateway
Functions
Streaming
Vault / Key Management
IAM
Develop high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity architectures.
Define cloud migration strategies for on-premise Oracle/database and application workloads.
Architect hybrid connectivity between OCI and on-premise/data-centre environments.
Work with security teams to implement IAM, encryption, network security, secrets management and compliance controls.
Define non-functional requirements covering performance, availability, scalability, resilience and security.
Develop HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, deployment models and technical design documents.
Provide technical leadership to OCI engineers and implementation teams.
Review implementation designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
Identify opportunities for cloud optimisation and cost management.
Support technology evaluations, PoCs and technical workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
Provide technical support during migration, testing, cutover and production stabilisation.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with OCI architecture and services.
Strong understanding of OCI networking and security.
Experience designing cloud landing zones and enterprise cloud platforms.
Strong Oracle Database / Oracle technology knowledge.
Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise integration.
Knowledge of IAM, encryption, key management and security architecture.
Experience with HA/DR architecture and RTO/RPO design.
